P30 Break Lite's winning bike was a 2008 Hayabusa that was custom built for long time customer Bobby Grigas. It was themed WiteOut because – ta-da! everything on it is white – like every vehicle Rodrigues owns. Originally, it was built three years ago to be basically a bar cruiser when Break Lite entered Grigas' brothers' twin bike – which is black with blue flames – in an ultimate builder competition on the International Motorcycle Show circuit and won. While they were there they saw the fliers for the Ultimate Hayabusa competition and opted to enter it with sibling rivalry kicking in. Surfercross, the brainchild of former motocross tuner and current JGRMX team technician Jeremy Albrecht, puts riders and surfers together (via a drawing) in two-man teams (one motocrosser and one surfer) over two days worth of competition – with one day spent on the track, the other on the beach.
